A couple weeks ago I shared the basics of what is going in our little one’s nursery, but today lets take a peak at the mood boards I made.
We already know the sex of Baby R, but we are keeping it a secret until our Gender Reveal Baby Shower (which is about a week and a half away-can’t wait!). Before I knew what we were having a made two different mood boards to be prepared when it was time to decorate.
For a little girl I am loving light peach and white, with hints of teal…
with vintage nursery rhyme prints (found on art.com) and a mix of old and new.
For a little guy I am loving dark navy and white…
with science (from art.com) or vintage educational posters (possibly from etsy or ebay) and more old and new items.
We are almost ready to start painting. The room is pretty much cleared out; we just have to wash the dirty walls and patch some holes. What do you think? Will it be peach or blue?

Either way, that will be one stylish baby! But my money is on… boy!

I love the quilts you chose. They look fun with all the color in them. I’m gonna guess it’s a girl.

My guess is a girl. I love the mood boards. A science theme is such a cute idea for a boys nursery. I love that mobile! The nursery rhyme prints are gorgeous too. Great colour schemes!!

I’m guessing it’s a girl! Everyone I know has been having boys lately so I would love to see a cute baby girl nursery! I love the vintage nursery rhyme prints and the chandelier for the girls room and I never would have thought to do science prints in a nursery!

I am loving the little boy room (and I think you are having a boy for the record!). We are also doing navy’s, but we find out in a few more hours if it will be navy and green and navy and pink!! (Needless to say, how I am still functioning at work is a miracle!). I’m not a huge fan of curvy furniture, but I absolutely love the crib you guys picked (and I love that it works great for a boy or a girl!). Can’t wait to hear all about your big party!

You’re so good at designing mood boards, they both look awesome. I love the vintage prints in both! I’m thinking a girl!

They are both soooo cute! A lot of people have been having boys lately so there might be something in the bloggy water

I love all of the little vintage elements and both of your color schemes. I recently saw someone decopage vintage children’s book pages on wide wooden picture frames … might be a nice nursery accent piece.
