It has been such a busy week over here at Corner of Main; I haven’t had any time to blog. I missed out on the last installment of the Dare to DIY party: Dare to Deck the Halls. This was basically because we did not have any rooms to deck! Our living room is a disaster zone…
And our dining room isn’t much better!
Kevin has been trying to paint the living room for the last couple days, but life keeps getting in the way.
Little Kevin is getting so BIG!
I had to clear out his dresser and pack away all the Newborn-6 months clothes. Yes, my baby is almost 3 months old and he is wearing 9 month clothes.
We are trying to figure out how to balance baby Kevin, work, home improvements, hobbies, relaxation, hopefully some sleep, exercise, and eating right! It has been quite a challenge and I think we are starting to get the hang of it. Do any mommies out there have any tips for me?
Last week I started to get back into the swing of things at work: we had a dinner meeting where they served steak and lobster so I don’t think I can complain about that one! Last night I attended a class, and next week I actually start seeing patients again (2-3 days a week).
We still have a ton to do before Christmas, but I think we can get it done!
To make up for this week, I am going to make at least 5 posts next week highlighting all of our holiday cheer! Then I will be taking a break until 2013 while I work on finding balance in my life. I feel like my blog is growing a little bit as my life changes, so hopefully you are along for the ride. 2013 should bring a mix of home, crafts, baby, and just life.
How does everyone find time to blog? How do you find a good balance in your life?

Keep it up! I love Corner of Main no matter how often you post, so hang in there!

Balance is so hard to find! I don’t want to give you any advice because obviously I am not very good at that since I’ve posted maybe twice in like 3 weeks. haha. You have a lot going on and you should soak up that baby time! It’s his first Christmas after all!

You’ll find the right balance don’t worry!

I only find time when a) I have something worthwhile to post about and 2) when it doesn’t interfere with actually living life. I used to always feel bad that I couldn’t keep up with the Jones’, but I’ve finally come to realize that I just do not have time to keep a regular posting schedule. Work has been extremely hectic, and life was a roller coaster for the past couple months. So instead of feeling pressure and bad about it, I just accept that it’s how it’ll be for me. And if people will still be around to read, then great! And if not, well, I’ll be okay with that too.
I think you are doing a great job, especially when you consider how much you have going on. And we’ll all be here to read when you can make time to post!

Balance is so hard to find. To be perfectly honest, Forrest and I have completely stopped home improvement projects until who knows when. I really don’t know what I’m going to do when I go back to work, but I do know 1… Little Kevin is way too adorable and 2, I will happily keep reading if you post everyday, once a week, or once a year! You are doing great!!!

I hope you can find some balance, and don’t worry about infrequent posts. I’ll be here reading when you get back! Merry Christmas!
