Last week Kevin put up our Christmas lights outside. I love how they turned out. It’s a pretty simple display, but they are merry and bright!
I think the white lights look so pretty and classic.
Last year we only had the lights and trees around the door with one wreath. Right after Christmas I bought the other five wreaths at Hobby Lobby on sale. I think each year we will have to keep adding to the display. We almost lined the roof of the house with lights, but: 1. we didn’t want Kevin to get hurt and 2. we just had new gutters installed and were worried something would happen to them if we hung lights from them.
Did you hang lights outside your house? White or colored? How about flashing lights with music, maybe Gangnam Style?

Your house is gorgeous! The light look really pretty.
We did hang lights on our house (at my Kevin’s peril… he climbed on the roof for some of them). We clipped the light directly to our singles because we don’t have gutters on our house (and it seems most homes in our neighborhood don’t). I think it has something to do with needing to water our foundations (and the fact that it almost never rains).

I’m a big fan of simple exteriors (it always looks classic!). I love those wreaths in the windows

I LOVE the wreaths in the windows with the lights! You have such a pretty house!
We went the white lights route too although my husband really prefers multi-coloured. I won for exterior and he won for the tree.

Ohhhhh, I love your house…it’s so classic, simple and festive! My hubby put some white lights outside…we’ll probably add a little more each year.

Your house looks super cute! I love the lit up wreaths in the windows! I really want to do something similar to that at our house too, maybe next year.

Lovely! And I am huge fan of the white lights. Somehow we managed to loose our Christmas lights this year. I tried to hunt down some in the stores but apparently white lights sell out the week of Thanksgiving. Next year I will just have to tackle the stores early. In the meantime we are sporting red bows with spot lights on our house.

It is classic and festive! Love just clear lights, they never go out of style. We hung some lights for the first time in 12 years of living at our house. Needed to add a lot more…maybe next year. Merry Christmas!
